The clock is made of solid wood and lead crystal which is splendid and impressive. The striking sound is harmonious. It is already oiled and is no need for maintenance for 5 years. You only need to wind it up every 15 days. There is slight oxidisation on the clock dial, because it is almost 100 years old. It functions properly and precisely, it is still suitable as a collectable and decoration.
